Hi, my name is Richard.
I’ve been training with Luis for about 3 full months now, and I have to tell you I love the results!! Not only physically but also the discipline I’ve developed from one on one coaching from Luis. I’ve tried many different workout videos, but always ended up quitting within about 2 months, and I’d never follow the complicated food plans, provided with the videos.
I initially was very hesitant at hiring a [personal] trainer because I am a firm believer in, why hire a trainer, when I can workout? I’ve always been in decent shape and always very active in sports. So there was no need for a trainer, until last summer when I hurt my ankle and could not exercise, run, or play any sports. After a while, I noticed my weight beginning to increase because I was still eating the same unhealthy foods and was unable burn off the weight by workout or playing sports.
It got to the point were, I was unhappy with myself and no longer fitting into my clothes. I made a decision to humble myself and get me a trainer. That’s when I met Luis, he was able to work around my injury and found different exercises that best fit my current physical capabilities. And when I first started, my right calf muscle was about twice the size of my left, because of my injury. But now, both calf muscles are proportioned all thanks to Luis.
With Luis you’re always held accountable, in a good encouraging way. He’s always there to give you an extra push when working out and tips on what to eat. Luis makes the complicated food plans, simpler by giving you examples and different options of food that he currently eats, himself and will energize you for your workouts. If you are ready to work hard and looking for an in person/one on one trainer that will get you looking great and feeling healthier in no time,
Luis is your man, just look at my pictures.
A few more weeks of training and look at the results. I think the pictures speak for themselves
I trained through all four years of high school – days of practice and weekends of traveling for tournament play. Up until last year that was enough to keep my game sharp. Then I realized that I neeed to make an extra effort to increase my strength, endurance and flexibility in order to play volleyball in college. I began working out with Luis … and quickly began seeing results. I started having more energy and strength to make it through long tournaments. My swings were not only quicker, but a lot stronger.
After signing to play at Boston College I knew that I really needed to kick it into gear. Luis understood my areas of strength and weakness and was there to push me even when I wanted to take it easy. With his intelligence regarding working muscle groups and nutrition he knew how to increase and personalize my work out. I went into workouts with Luis thinking that I’d just have someone to monitor my exercises, but Luis constantly found new exercises that were targeted to my sport and health. Not only did he make sure I had a work out customized to my needs for quickness and strength, he watched my health outside of our workouts too. Luis personalized meal plans and recommended vitamins that made a noticeable difference in my energy level.
It was awesome to train with Luis because it made a difference in my game. I created good workout habits and training techniques and am now prepared to play at the Division I level. I know that I am going into my first year with preparedness unmatched by the other players. Thank you, Luis, for making me a stronger and better athlete :)!

Fitness for real people
My initial goal in working with Luis was to be comfortable using free weights to develop a strong body with muscular definition. I also wanted a fitness discipline to use for a lifetime. I soon discovered that Luis is a treasure chest of knowledge based on his years of experience as a bodybuilder and in training others. Just as valuable, he is blessed with an exceptional gift of teaching. This gives him the ability to make adjustments during our sessions so I always leave thinking that I have accomplished something important.
I have learned the importance of a healthy diet and eating habits and how they impact my energy levels. Only by maintaining discipline in my diet will I be able to advance to a higher level of strength.
Luis is always good natured and positive; training sessions are fun while maintaining respect for a serious endeavor. So I continue to learn the many subtle aspects of muscle development which are pleasurable and fun In spite of the effort involved.
Lost 70 pounds in 7 months
Like so many middle-aged women, I had joined the “obese” club. I was 70 lbs overweight and nothing I did (or did not do) was changing it. There were many, many health issues. Too many to list. My mother was very ill, and life just did not seem worth living any more.
I hit rock bottom when I blew my knee out. I did not have insurance, nor money to have any surgery. I could not put any weight on it for over a month. For the first time in my life, at the age of only 41, I was completely helpless. I could not take care of my elderly mother, let alone myself. From the depths of my soul I cried out, “I need a miracle. I need a healing miracle.”
Someone heard my prayer. Shortly thereafter I met Luis. He is a nationally certified trainer who takes his job very seriously and wants his clients to achieve their health and weight loss goals. Unlike other trainers that I had worked with in the past Luis taught me how to eat properly. He took the “mystery” out of fats, carbs, and proteins; and how to nourish your body when you are exercising to lose weight. The other great thing about Luis is that he makes exercising fun.
Within 7 months I lost over 70 lbs, and for a 5′ 2″ frame that is tremendous!! I have more endurance, strength and muscle now than I did when I was 18!! People actually ask me if I’m training for a body-building competition. But best of all, my health issues have GONE!! I truly believe our bodies are capable of healing themselves completely if we give them a healthy lifestyle.
Luis is a wonderful [personal] trainer, and I wholeheartedly recommend his program. He has the ability to be flexible and creative in working with an individual so the program is specifically structured to that person’s needs. But even over time someone’s needs change, and Luis is able to not only accommodate the changes, but make the program interesting, fun and challenging. He is creative and always coming up with new activities; the sessions never get boring. Given his own training, Luis has a long held knowldedge of the body which makes him an astute observer of someone’s physical ability. He is gifted in knowing how to motivate, and how we both can have fun in the process. His good cheer and humor makes the training sessions enjoyable.
I have been training with Luis for just over 2 years, and … doing so is one of the best things I have done. At a recent annual physical exam my internist confirmed what I had suspected – my aerobic condition and cardiovascular status are the best they have been in years, equal to that of someone much younger than my 65 years.
Luis is the best
In the past I’ve joined athletic gyms and while they had all that was needed to get in shape it lacked the one thing I needed; someone to train me correctly. I’ve been working with Luis for nearly 3 years and while I now know what to do as far as training myself I do not have the knowledge to keep the training on track for my personal needs as well as the ability to keep the training interesting. When I first started training with Luis I was on a 2 x weekly routine.Just last September I stepped up my training to 4 x weekly and added bike riding to my routine. It is amazing how much better I feel and the results are really showing. I’ve lost nearly 40 pounds.
My goal was to lose weight and get in shape. I am nearly to my goal and have never felt better. Every session is tailored to my needs. When I was dealing with an injury I sustained while traveling, Luis … knew exactly how to work around them to keep me on track and achieve my goals.
I highly recommend Luis … See for yourself; give him a call … You won’t feel pressured and you will be able to decide for yourself if you would like to work with him. He will tailor make a plan for you just like he has for me.
[Call Luis] …. It can’t hurt and in fact, it may be the best thing you ever do.

I hate exercise
First of all, let’s get this straight. I hate exercise.
If I didn’t hate exercise, maybe I wouldn’t need a personal trainer.
The only thing I hate worse than exercise is a gym. There’s no way in the world I’m going to a health club so everybody can see how many pounds I’ve gained and how quickly a treadmill reduces me to an out-of-breath heap panting on the floor. Besides, I figure how many pounds I can bench is my own business and nobody else’s.
No, let the beautiful people go to their health clubs. I’m staying out.
I never really wanted to be out of shape, but somehow I always was. In the back of my mind was this little voice that kept telling me, You gotta get into shape. I knew I was slowly killing myself, and if I didn’t make some changes, I would spend the last decade of my life in a wheelchair or a hospital bed.
When I hit the half century mark, another little voice started talking to me: It isn’t going to get any easier. You gotta get into shape. It’s now or never.
I knew I needed to make a change, but how? The only sport I like is ping pong, and I don’t like it that much. And I’ve already told you, I hate gyms.
About this time, my wife and I met Luis, a guy with the kind of body that any man would secretly envy. I got talking to him and discovered that he’s a nice guy. Better yet, he knew how to get me into shape for the first time in my life. And, best of all, I didn’t need to go to some health club.
As badly as I needed to get into shape, I’m not going to let just anybody coach me. Whoever it is needs to respect me, and needs to have enough patience to put up with somebody who has never been in shape, and isn’t too excited about the process it takes to get there.
Fortunately, Luis was a perfect fit. He is courteous. He is friendly and encouraging. He never makes me feel like an out-of-shape slob, but instead is always encouraging and helpful.
Don’t get me wrong. He doesn’t make exercise easy. But he does make it fun. I’ve done a couple dozen workouts with Luis. The other day I did 60 push ups. Pretty good for me. A couple weeks ago, I helped my wife clean out the garage. I carried box after box filled with books and I didn’t even break a sweat. I feel great.
I’m not Mr. America – far from it. But I am getting in shape for the first time ever. I feel like a teenager again.
Every workout with Luis is a little different. I’m amazed at how many different ways he knows to make me stronger, more energetic, more flexible. Yes, he does push me. But he knows exactly how far to push. He gets me to do what I didn’t think I could do, but he knew I could do. Afterward, I think, Wow, I did it!
I know Luis trains athletes. I know he could easily just focus on training super competitors. But I’m glad he specializes in people like me: Ordinary people who hate the gym but desperately need to get in shape.
Luis has been my personal trainer for years, and I feel fantastic. I’m not trying to run a marathon or get on some reality TV show. I just want to feel healthy, and I do. One thing I really appreciate about Luis is his ability to work around injuries. I suffered a frozen shoulder a couple years ago–if you’ve ever experienced that, you know what I’m talking about–but Luis worked with me, and now my shoulder is back, stronger than ever. I dropped a file cabinet on my toe (ouch!), but Luis worked around that and kept me in great shape.
Take it from a guy who hates exercise–if you live in or near Madison, Wisconsin, you need Luis as your personal trainer.
